Maintaining our independence and the multi-disciplinary aspect of what we do at the Madagascar Whale Shark Project is essential for my team and I. Indeed, to me our efforts in conservation are only worthy when beneficial to the local communities.

We mostly depend on private donors and support from corporate partners to fund our work, which is becoming vital considering how big our responsibilities are becoming.
