Join me on our bespoke trips with the Madagascar Whale Shark Project, where we share our work & expertise with you as the only whale shark research and conservation organisation in Madagascar. You will witness science in action, such as photo-identification, biopsies, tag deployment, prey captures and much more.

We thrive to offer life-changing experiences on our spacious boat, accompanied by project partners, students and a great crew for optimal safety and comfort.

The success of our research activities can never be guaranteed, and will depend above all on the whale sharks, which, we remind you, are free and wild animals.
Swimming with whale sharks will always be done in compliance with the code of conduct.

A WEEK OF SCIENCE

Join us for a week of dedicated research trips, learn more about whale shark science and conservation, while staying in a beautiful villa and swimming with whale sharks every day. On this trip our colleague Dr. Clare Prebble from our partners Marine Megafauna Foundation will be present as well, and you will benefit from exclusive evening presentations on whale sharks every night.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to data collection, and your participation in this trip will support our work directly.
Space is limited to 6 people. This trip is led in English.
FREEDIVING & SCIENCE

Improve your freediving skills while participating to a scientific program dedicated to whale sharks.
Through a mix of amazing snorkelling sites, line sessions and swimming with whale sharks, this will be an action-packed week. Your participation in this trip will support our work directly. This trip is run in partnership with local freediving school Freedive Nosy Be's instructor Guillaume Bonnaud, you will also be able to undertake SSI freediving certifications.
Space is limited to 8 people. This trip is led in French or English.
SCIENCE DAYS
From September to December
Want to join us for a day at sea, and discover how a scientific program works on a daily basis?

This year, we are finally launching our day trips, in partnership with our long-term partners Baleines Rand'eau.
​
On a dedicated research boat, you will be accompanied the science team, such as our Malagasy students and scientific partners to witness science for conservation in action.
We leave with our picnic to be able to adapt to the animals and stay longer at sea!
